Flavonoids are a large class of phenolic compounds which widely resided in the plants, the compounds was called flavonoids mosllt of that is yellow. Scientists have found them that have varieties of physiological functions and medicinal value, and have less side effect. Beecause of its extensive biological activities, people pay much attentive on it,set off the boom of the research synthesis, the use and the development of flavonoids. In this thesis,we have selected the flavonoid as the target, synthesized, characterized a series of flavone-8-carboxylic acid and improved on the technics. Taking Three bacteriums as target strains, inhibition and antibacterial effect of the flavonoids were tested, biological activities and structure-activity relationship were approach. Our work was carried out as follows:Firstly, The recent progress of the biological activites, synthesis, struture-activity relationship of the flavone have been reviewed extensively based on the detailed investigation of related literatures.Secondly, The total synthesis route of chalcone was chosen in this paper, and improved on the technics, And each factor was studied. This synthetic route provided a direction for the research of synthesizing chalcone in a green, environmental protection method.Thirdly, Antibacterial activities of these compounds were qualitatively test by inhibition zone. The results indicate that these compounds had active resistance and the antimicrob-ial activity was related with the spatial struetures of these compounds, and antimicrobial mechanism was preliminarily investigated.Fourthly, The MIC and MBC of flavonoids have been tested. Inhibitory action of the compounds on G+bacterium is the best, followed by the effect on bacillus and G+bacterium.I think it has relations with its different structure of cell wall and membrane.Fifthly, The antibacterial effect of the compounds is direct proportion with concentration and time, the more concentration and time, the more the rate of bacteriostasis.
