The firing of ceramic kiln is a thermotechnical process with the variation of time, large time delay and much interference. Once firing breakdown occurs, it's difficult to remove it without experts, and normal production would be effected. The remote monitoring and failure detect system provide great help for such kiln interference. To meet the demand of Ceramic kiln remote monitoring and fault diagnosis, as well as to reduce cost, the program of Two layer structure ceramic kiln remote monitoring and fault diagnosis is presented. And on that basis, with Windows Server 2003 IIS6.0 Build Sever adopted, ASP.NET,C# as its developmental language and Multithreading Technique, ActiveX control technique and Java Script technique, Remote monitoring and fault diagnosis for main modules of web sever can be realized, and User management and knowledge management module can also be developed and achieved. It uses SQL2000 Building the database sever and design knowledge base structure of Ceramic kiln, the application of SQL Data Query Language makes Reverse indistinct logic computer module come true. The results of simulation experiment demonstrate that the designed system can carry out remote monitoring timely and accurately, and can also reflect the cause of the kiln failure quickly. The developed system can reduce time for Ceramic kiln fault diagnosis, and greatly improve production efficiency of manufacturing enterprises.
