Carboxymethyl-β-cyclodextrinas(CMCD) intercalated layered double hydroxides(LDHs) powder materials have been synthesized by the use of ion-exchange and in situ crystallization technique, respectively. The selective adsorption of organic molecules (phenol and nitrobenzene) has been studied in detail. The results show that CMCD-LDH composite exhibits preferential adsorption for phenol than nitrobenzene, as a result of selective recognition of interlayer CMCD cavity. Therefore, the CMCD-LDH composite can be potentially applied in selective adsorption and separation of the wasterwater pollutants.A new proch for gold nanoparticles-loaded layered double hydroxide supported (AuNPs-LDHs) prepared via reduction. The AuNPs-LDHs powder characterized by X-ray diffraction, SEM, HRTEM, BET, FTIR, and investigated for the selective of Hemoglobin (Hb), Bovine serum albumin (BSA) and Lysozyme (LYZ). It was found that concentration, pH, ionic strength have impact pn the adsorption. The results show that AuNPs-LDHs powder exhibits preferential adsorption for Hb than BSA and LYZ. The Ho's pseudo second order kinetic model is reasonable to describe the adsorption process of Hb onto AuNPs-LDHs powder.To prevent the shortages of powder materials on not easy to recovery and loss, we reduction AuNPs on the MgAl-LDH film. The AuNPs-LDHs powder characterized by X-ray diffraction, SEM, HRTEM, BET, FTIR, and investigated for the selective of Hemoglobin (Hb), Bovine serum albumin (BSA) and Lysozyme (LYZ). The results show that AuNPs-LDHs film exhibits preferential adsorption for Hb than BSA and LYZ.
