Inorganic-organic nanocomposites with unique comprehensive performance have important scientific significance and applications in the fields such as photocatalysis, photoelectric devices and nanotechnology area, etc. In this paper, based on titania nanosheet (Ti0.91O2) and polyaniline nanofiber (PANI) obtained as precursor materials, we have synthetized intercalation structured PANI-Tio.91O2 nanocomposite and PANI/Ti0.91O2 nanocomposite multilayer films. The major works have been described in two parts as follows:(1) CTAB-Ti0.91O2 nanocomposite were prepared via cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) pre-hold titania nanosheet (Ti0.9iO2), after which the resulting nanocomposite were react with polyaniline nanofiber in N-methyl pyrrolidone (NMP) solution and were finally converted into intercalation structured PANI-Ti0.91O2 nanocomposite. A detailed analysis of PANI-Ti0.91O2 nanocomposite for the structure, morphology and contents have been characterized by XRD, FTIR, UV-Vis, SEM, TG, and elemental analysis, PANI has a mass content between 15% and 24% in the nanocomposite. The photocatalytic performance of PANI-Ti0.91O2 nanocomposite was also investigated under visible light irradiation (λ> 400 nm) and degradation efficiency for RhB almost reach 100% after 6 hours.(2) PANI/Ti0.91O2 nanocomposite films were prepared using titania nanosheet and polyaniline nanofiber via Layer-by-layer self-assembly technique. In-situ UV-Vis spectra showed the multilayer films increased uniformly. Photoelectric response experiments were carried out for PEI/Ti0.91O2 (PANI/Ti0.91O2)n-1 multilayer films, number of bilayers, applied bias voltage, adding electron donor and electron acceptor were investigated to study the photocurrent of multilayer films, chopped white light and visible light experiments suggested a p-n junction existed in PANI/Tio.91O2 multilayer film.
