As a result of its fine material performance, the aluminum alloy is widely used in the project domain in recent years. But when processing complex and the precise components made by aluminum alloy, the aluminum alloy is easy to have the distortion under the conventional cutting condition. Therefore it can't meet the needs of precision manufacture. The high-speed cutting processing has represented one of the most important development directions in machine-finishing. Which has obtained widespread application in the precise components'processing because of its small cutting, high velocity, fast feed's processing methods. But regarding to the high-speed cutting of aluminum alloy precise components, the work piece distortion and the surface quality after processing will have tremendous influence to the operational performance of components. But the surface residual stress of work piece has decided the work piece surface quality to a great extent. Based on the research of LY12 duralumin alloy high-speed cutting process, the present paper has further analyzed the aluminum alloy surface residual stress distributed rule the high-speed cutting, thus provided the theory basis for the study of improving surface quality and cutting parameter optimization of its precedent.The research has carried on the hot-strength coupling analysis and constructed expansion Oxley cutting model which is suitable for the high-speed cutting. Through the ABAQUS software, the LY12 duralumin alloy's high-speed cutting process two-dimensional orthogonal cutting simulation has been carried on under different cutting parameters. Its cutting force and cutting temperature are studied. And through unloading the cutting tool from the surface of the processed work piece to obtain the work piece surface residual stress distribution. Established the three dimensional inclined angle cutting model based on the two-dimensional simulation and analysis the contact condition on three dimensional cutting. Simulated a key parameter-edge inclination angle to the influence of various parameters in the process of cutting.Through the research of the paper, we can not only obtain high-speed cutting process and the residual stress distributed research technique which is suitable to the LY12 duralumin alloy material, also provide a way to study other materials under the high-speed cutting process and the residual stress distribution condition.
