| This study is attributed to science and technology projects in Shenyang "Key technologies and demonstration of ecosystem restoration and reduction of pollution in Shenyang typical riparian zone". Belong to major special issue of state water pollution control and treatment "Key technologies and demonstration of improvement and ecological restoration to water quality of Hun River upstream". Carried out study on Application of riparian buffer zones in 2009-2010, study on purification field test in Shenyang and Qingyuan Hun River upstream. For the common type of vegetation in the area, set up seven blocks in Shenyang and nine plots in Qingyuan. Simulated surface runoff of contaminated water through typical plots, collected sample after flowing through the different treatment plots, Analyzed on different vegetation type, different widths and different pollutant concentration have effected on the riparian zone on the effect of the reduction targets by chemical analysis. The results showed that buffer zone to the reduction rate of phosphorus were better than nitrogen. The elimination rate of the riparian vegetation buffer strips was higher when more wide vegetation zone of pollutants. The reduction rate of natural vegetation was better than the artificial vegetation to remove pollutants. The mixed vegetation configured by forest and grass showed better elimination rate of pollutants. Mixed grass to woodland or grassland than individual better able to absorb pollutants. The elimination rate of the riparian vegetation buffer strips in different width of vegetation zone had significantly different. The reduction rate of 7m width was better than 1m width to remove pollutants on river riparian zone. The elimination rate of the riparian vegetation buffer strips in different contamination content had significantly different. The reduction rate of light pollution was better than the severe pollution to remove pollutants. 20% and 40% reduction of grassland to nitrogen was the most effective. |
