Cinnamyl alcohol (Ar-C=C-CH2OH, short CMO), also known as cinnamon alcohol, styrone.It's a typical ofα,β-unsaturated alcohols , as an important intermediate of fine chemical, is widely used in perfume, cosmetics, food and drug synthesis, has good prospect for development. The composite catalysts were prepared by Sub-leaching method with sepiolite and Al2O3 as carriers,such as Co-La/acid modified sepiolite, Co-Ce/acid modified sepiolite, Co-La/Al2O3, Co-Ce/Al2O3 and so on.Using these catalysts for the experiments of selective hydrogenation of cinnamaldehyde.Studying of the related influence of catalysts for the selective hydrogenation of cinnamaldehyde to cinnamyl alcohol in the catalytic activity and selectivity.Optimized of catalyst preparation and hydrogenation reaction conditions.Through scanning electron microscopy (SEM), temperature programmed reduction (TPR), X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), thermal analysis (TG-DTG-DTA) and other characterization methods to investigated the effect of different catalysts to the reaction.Analyzing of changes in the structure of the vector and different catalysts on the catalytic activity and selectivity and internal relevance.Results about the achievement are listed as follows:1.Using acid modified sepiolite and alumina as carriers supported the same catalyst for catalytic hydrogenation lead to huge difference in reaction. In similar conditions, the acid modified sepiolite which as catalyst carrier get a better reaction effect.2.Using Co-La/acid modified sepiolite as supported catalyst to react for 3 hours under the conditions of 1.6MPa pressure, 373K, and the amount of catalyst is 0.28g/ml (CMA), the conversion of cinnamaldehyde was 74.8%, cinnamic alcohol selectivity was 70.0%. Getting the optimize program in the related experiments. Experimental results show that the use of acid modified sepiolite as catalyst for hydrogenation of cinnamaldehyde was play a good role.3.There have a higher selectivity of the formation of cinnamyl alcohol. Catalysts have the highly-targeted for the hydrogenation of C=O double bonds. So we believe that we can choise much more broader conditions for the optimal response.
