Cyclohexanediamine O Synthesis, Structure And Performance Of The The Vanillin Single Lanthanide Complexes | Posted on:2012-09-15 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | Country:China | Candidate:Q Zhang | Full Text:PDF | GTID:2211330368994535 | Subject:Organic Chemistry | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | In this paper, reactions of Schiff base ligand 6,6′-dimethoxy-2,2′- [(cyclohexane-1,2-diyl)bis(nitrilomethylidyne)]diphenol (H2L) with rare-earth salts under diffusing conditions yielded sixteen new coordination complexes: [Nd(H2L)2MeOH](PF6)3·H2O·2CH2Cl2 (1), [Ce(H2L)2MeOH](PF6)3·CH2Cl2 (2), [Sm(H2L)2H2O](PF6)3·MeOH·2CH2Cl2 (3), [Yb(H2L)2MeOH](PF6)3·H2O·2CH2Cl2 (4), [Sm(H2L)2MeOH](PF6)3·CH2Cl2 (5) and [Sm(H2L)2MeOH](PF6)3·2CH2Cl2 (6). The complexes [(CuClL)LaCl2(CH3OH)3]·H2O (7) [(CuClL)SmCl2(CH3OH)2] (8) [(CuClL)GdCl2(CH3OH)2] (9) and [(CuClL)DyCl2(CH3OH)2] (10); four 3d–4f heterodinuclear Cu–Ln dinuclear single molecular structure complexes: [(CuClL)LaCl2(CH3OH)3]·H2O (7), [(CuClL)SmCl2(CH3OH)2] (8), [(CuClL)GdCl2(CH3OH)2] (9) and [(CuClL)DyCl2(CH3OH)2] (10); two heterotrinuclear complexes: [(LCuCl)2GdCl] (11),[Zn2(H2L)2SmCl2]·(PF6) (12) and one trinuclear complexe: [Yb3L3(OH)3Cl(H2O)4]2Cl·2H2O (13); four tetranuclear complexes: {[Yb4L4(NO3)2(H2O)2]·[Yb(NO3)3(H2O)2(MeOH)]0.5·2CH2Cl2·H2O}(NO3)2 (14), {[Sm4L4(OAc)2(H2O)2]·2H2O}(PF6)2 (15) and {[Yb4L4Cl2(H2O)2]·H2O}(PF6)2 (16). Single crystal X-ray crysrallographic analysis are carried out for these complexes and IR, UV, TG-DSC measurements were employed as well to confirm their strutures. Complexes 3, 5, 6 and 12 had fluorescence property, Complexes 1, 4, 14 and 16 showed typical NIR emissions at room temperature. The fluorescence and NIR properties of the complexes were investigated in various solvents.
