ZnO is an interesting wide band gap semiconductor,which has been used in many industrial fields medicine, gas sensor, main component in varistor, etc. Nano-particle of ZnO have exhibited excellent physical and chemical properties.ZnO nanoparticle dope with Mg is important.We prepared ZnO and ZnxMg1-xO micro/nano-powders by ultrasonic spray pyrolysisThis thesis adopted ultrasonic spray pyrolysis method, we use ammonium nitrate, urea, magnesium nitrate,zinc nitrate as precursor solution then we get the micro powders.We prepared the nano-powders by lapping the micro powders.We use the methods of scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), UV-visible absorption spectra (UV-Vis) and so on to examine the characteristics of ZnO and ZnxMg1-xO. The analysis showed that ZnO is wurtzite prepared by spray pyrolysis.The micro-paticle is crushed,ollow,porous,spherical particles.The ZnO particles size and morphologycanbechange effective by precursor solution concentration, urea content ,reaction temperature and other parameters.When urea molarity is1.26mol/L, ammonium nitrate molarity is 1.68mol/L,the particle size is 5nm-29nm.
