Study Of Expandable Tubular Well Completion Technology In Tarim Oil Filed

Dina 2 gas field is the second biggest gas field found in Tarim. For a long time, the massive research and the experiment is conducted for common well completion in condensate gas reservoir. But there is poor research in expandable tubular well completion. Therefore, the study of using expandable tubular well completion for high pressure gas condensate reservoir in Tarim has great significance not only in theory, but also in practice.As a new technology, the expandable pipe technology is gradually matured. It can solve many complex drilling problems and obviously reduce the cost of well drilling and completion. The principle is running the expandable tube column into the well, then forces it to expand to deform permanently by special hydraulic tool.On the basis of systemic investigation, this paper introduces the expandable tube technology characteristics, and analyzes its field application in Tarim. It is think that Dina 2 gas field is suitable to using expandable tube technology in well completion, and it explores one kind of new thoughts for this gas reservoir to highly effective development.
