The phenomenon of fake brand clothing becomes more and more serious along with the rapid development of market economy great the interests of consumers and producers. Clothing anti-counterfeiting become more and more important. In order to protect their and consumer's interests manufacturers have introduced some anti-counterfeiting measures, such as physical anti-counterfeiting technology, laser holographic anti-counterfeiting technology, material, chemical anti-counterfeiting technology, telephone anti-counterfeiting technology, automatic identification anti-counterfeiting technology. Although these anti-counterfeiting technologies are effective, but their cost is high, these reduce the competitiveness of their products. Consumers can not afford these anti-counterfeiting technologies, as they have to rely on expensive equipment to achieve anti-counterfeiting, so these anti-counterfeiting technology can not widely used.PDF417 bar code is a more commonly used kind of two-dimensional bar. This text mainly using the advantages of PDF417 bar code's large information stored , strong correction ability, high secrecy and anti-counterfeiting, do not rely on backend database, easy to make and low cost, applied it to clothing anti-counterfeiting can effectively solve the problems of high cost and difficult to use, the effect of the anti-counterfeiting is also very good.The specific approach to achieve anti-counterfeiting is to store fashion feature information in the bar code after encrypted,then printed the PDF417 code on the clothing tag. The author compiled corresponding decoding algorithm. Consumers could use it to restore the fashion feature in the bar code, compare to clothing itself feature information and Chinese characters on the clothing label, easy to distinguish authenticity.This subject mainly studies three issues:1. The first one is to study a large scale compression algorithm of logo. This paper presents a feature information extraction based on image compression algorithm for trademark image which has the characteristics of less color and color chart-based. Using trademark image edge detection and contour following, extract each child contour feature points for the extraction of information, the contour feature information use the run-length coding compression algorithm to feature information further compression.2. The second one is to develop software which can generate two-dimensional bar used to make two-dimensional bar on the clothing label. Before stored the clothing feature information into two-dimensional bar we must to encrypt the data information.3. The third one is to develop multi-function software which can read two-dimensional bar code, helped customers to verify the authenticity of clothing.This subject has two innovations:1. The first one is apply two-dimensional barcode technology to clothing anti-counterfeiting field, providing a new idea of clothing anti-counterfeiting, effectively solve the problems of high cost and difficult to use.2. The second one is present a feature information extraction based on image compression algorithm for trademark image which has the characteristics of less color and color chart-based.
