Electrostatic precipitator (ESP) is one of the industrial dust purification devices,which is widely used in the area of dust-clean. As people have become increasingly the demanding to the environment, dust emission standard in China have been increased, so a majority of ESP is difficult to achieve the dust emission.In the process of Electrostatic precipitator in the treatment to high resistivity dust,anti-corona can reduce the collection efficiency of ESP. To the fact that high resistivity dust is difficult to be collected by ESP, I put forward a new concept of counter-current dual-zone charge ESP, seeking a fundamental solution to the high resistivity dust, I invented the counter-current dual-zone ESP, intending not to reduce the dust's charge, reduce the current density to improve the effect of ESP to the high resistivity dust.In order to confirm that counter-current dual-zone charge ESP will be able to effectively prevent the occurrence of the phenomenon of anti-corona, the voltammetric characteristics in charge-zone and collection-zone are studied by experiment respectively, the results indicate that there is no significant anti-corona phenomenon in charging-zone and board-board structure collection-zone. However, in the line- board structure collection- zone, anti-corona occurres. In order to verify the effect of new ESP is better than traditional ESP, experimental investigation of the charge voltage, collecting voltage different structure of collection-zone to the efficiency of dust collection, the analysis of the experimental results illustrate:there is a optimal voltage in charging-zone; For the same species dust, the efficiency in the board-board structure collection-zone is higher than line-board structure,which is exactly identical as we envisage. Secondly, in order to study the surface characteristics of collection plate to the collection efficiency of ESP, experimental study the new plate, coating plate, and the old plate of ESP's collecting efficiency. The result proves that coated plate can ensure the effective operation of ESP in certain extent. Finally, studying the classification of the different dust, finding that the smaller size, higher resistance dust is difficult to be removed.Theory and experiment results have proved that the counter-current charge dual-zone ESP successfully resolves the difficult problem that the collection efficiency of traditional ESP to high resistivity dust is too low, the field of ESP applications is greatly broadened.
