Currently, the air quality is getting worse. It also noted the link of fine particulate matter and human health. Therefore, all countries increasing emphasis on purification of fine dust.Electrostatic precipitator as an important device for processing dust and has been widespread concern. The traditional electrostatic precipitator efficiency is already very high, but the collecting efficiency against fine dust is yet far from ideal. Studies have shown that,change the conventional electrostatic precipitator collecting plates to porous fibrous plate can effectively improve the electrostatic precipitator collection efficiency.In this paper, use a new plate namely porous fibrous plate for electrostatic precipitator to collected dust research and use conventional dust collection plate as a control group.Comparison of two experiments in trapping efficiency of fine particles, make a foundation for further improve the collection efficiency of the electrostatic precipitator for fine particulate matter. In the experiment brick dust is selected as the collecting object. There are two reasons:First, the construction site dust is brick powder, which is one of the main sources of fine dust particles in the air; Second, self-grinded brick dust powder contains more PM2.5 and PM10,then can achieve better test results.Respectively compared the volume percentage of two plates at different voltages collected on PM2.5 and PM10, the results show that:In any voltages, using the new plate collection efficiency is higher. This shows that the new plates reduce the effects for particulate matter of ionic wind. In favor of electrostatic precipitator collect dust, while improved the collecting efficiency of fine dust. Experiments for the development of make more efficient electrostatic precipitates provide a reference.
