Research On VSR Equipment Based On Spectral Analysis Method

Vibratory Stress Relief(VSR) is an effective technical means to average and eliminate the residual stress in the workpiece, compared with traditional natural stress relief and thermal stress relief, vibratory stress relief has extremely remarkable economic and social benefit.The paper is started with the generation mechanism and characteristics of residual stress, analyzes the elimination principle of residual stress respectively from the macro,the micro and the metal theory points.According to the theory of mechanical vibration systems,it narrates the theoretical basis of VSR based on spectral analysis method.At the same time,it introduces the principles of the three most important parameters——excitation force,excitation frequency and excitation time,which lays a theoretical foundation for VSR of the workpiece.The paper builds a VSR equipment,which includes a DC exciter,a DC Motor Speed Regulator (M1D10),an industrial computer,an acceleration sensor,an anti-filter amplifier,the cards of PCL818-L and PCL818-HG..The paper also briefly introduces the application methods of various hardwares and draws the diagrams of the relative principle and circuitry. The paper compiles a software of the VSR equipment,which includes card visit module,signal output module,PID control module,high-speed data acquisition module,spectral analysis module,real-time data display module and so on. It has two functions:The first one is the DC motor speed has a stability control through the PID control module;The second one is to acquire the vibration signal of the workpiece through the card PCL-818HG, we can obtain the natural frequencies of the workpiece and other relative information according to spectral analysis of the signals, then makes the workpiece vibrate with the better frequency.Comparing with the natural frequencies of the workpiece which is obtained by VSR equipment and DongFangsuo DASP equipment,it proves that the software of VSR equipment is correct.In the end, the conclusion of VSR,the deficiency of this issue and immature work has been mentioned; some standpoints and suggestions have been given in the future research.
