As a large size and complicated equipment which integrated with mechanic-electronic-hydraulic, temper mill is composed of mill stand, roller, drive system, hydraulic gauge control system and industrial control computer etc. Because of adopting electro-hydraulic servo technology, the dynamic response speed of hydraulic gauge control system has been greatly improved, which has a significant impact on the plate shape precision of strip steel. The hit research area of vibration in the world concentrated in its influence on the rolling speed, product quality and equipment safety. With the development of computer simulation technology and vibration measurement, Researchers have did a wide and profound study at a different angle on electro-mechanical coupling,the horizontal impact of roller, nonlinear factors and so on.There are various nonlinear and complex vibration coupling during rolling process. Therefore, when system is under a certain rolling condition or a rolling parameter perturbation, it easily cause different degree of nonlinear vibration, and even the intense and sustained self-excited vibration of entire system. To take system dynamics model as a basis of the dynamic mechanics analysis of structure. According to current research literature about rolling mill vibration, establishing theoretical model that just take mill stand and rollers system in rolling mill into consideration always oversimplified, which ignores the HAGC system's influence on the self-excited vibration. It makes a great difference between theoretical model and a practical system and influence the qualitative analysis of vibration mechanism.In this paper,2030 continuous annealing unit is considered to be the research object. The mechanical model of load combined with valve-controlled cylinder system form the closed-loop system of temper mill vertical vibration. Temper mill's actual model seems too complex to modeling and simulation. Based on theoretical analysis and experiments, temper mill's rollers system and stand are reduced to two freedom mass model, through the simulation of system model by Matlab/Simulink, analyzing different parameter's influence on the system and researching the temper mill self-excited vibration's mechanism.
