High-Speed precision ball screw unit is one of the five key parts of NC machine, and its manufacturing level determines the precision level of NC machine to great extent. With the development of mechanical production and NC machine oriented to high-speed, high-precision, multi-purpose and environmentalization, the performance of ball screw units is demanded higher.At present, there is still a large gap between our country and some developed countries in ball screw units. Besides poor quality raw materials and unadvanced equipments, the scarcity of test apparatus also hinders the development of high-speed ball screw units.The test system used to measure the conbination property parameters of high-speed ball screw unit is developed to test the temperature variation,thermal deformation and positioning accaracy and etc.By using high precision sensors, the veracity of the measure result can be ensured and can supply accurate and reliable measurement report for the customer. The problems should be paid attention to while designing and manufacuring of the test system are introduced,and the relization method of the software and hardware of the system is given.Ball screw units in the high-speed condition, ball screw be running time and operation speed and temperature rise dramatically influence in the ball screw the thermal displacement intensifies, may not be able to meet the requirements of precision machining. So we use the high-speed ball screw units test bench to do experiments for the ball screw units focused on the temperature variation. Through the various experiment, given the measurement report by the test system, of the data analysis, the corresponding conclusion, proposes the solution to the problem of how to improve the ball screw can better reduce temperature variation.
