Carbon capture and storage is a global research hot topic, while CO2 capture technology is the premise that CO2 can be stored further. Adsorption has been considered to be a promising technology for CO2 capture, because it has fast adsorption/desorption rate, high efficiency, low energy consumption, no equipment corrosion and no secondary pollution etc. Fossil-fuel-burning power plants are the single-largest anthropogenic emission sources globally, accounting for 25% of CO2 emissions. Therefore, the solution of adsorption separation of CO2 in fossil flues is not only the need of energy saving, but also many cross forefront of the science.In this study, the preparaed PSAC and shopped SMR modified by organic amine were chosed as CO2 adsorbents to investigate the adsorption/desorption performances of CO2 in simulated flue gasese (CO2~15 vol%). The results are listed as follows:1) When PSAC with SBET of 1205 m2/g is as the adsorbent of CO2, the adsorption capacity of CO2 is 1.1 mmol/g at 30℃/15 KPa and 5.5 mmol/g at 30℃/710 KPa.2) The ultrafine micropores are effective pores for CO2 adsorption on PSAC, and the equilibrium adsorption capacity has a linear relationship with S<1 nm. PSAC exhibits a good regeneration performance with combined ESA-VSA due to its spherical structure and electric conductivity, so it is better than TSA or VSA. Its desorption efficiency can give about 100%, and the desorption rate is twice of that with TSA and the energy consumption is only 69% of that with TSA.3) Because the ultrafine micropores has the overlying potential energy to CO2, PSAC has the adsorption selectivity of CO2 vs. N2 and O2. While active site Cf exerts an inductive influence on O=C-of O=C=O molecule, CO2 can be polarized and has four kinds of adsorption configuration, and two of them has weak polarity.4) At 30℃, the equilibrium adsorption capacity of CO2 on SMR/PEI-40 can obtain 4.02 mmol/g with a good adsorption/desorption cycle performance. When the moisture of simulated flue gases is 14.5%, the equilibrium adsorption capacity of CO2 is 4.25 mmol/g, with an increase of 5.7% due to the co-reaction of H2O molecule. After ten cycles of CO2 adsorption/desorption, the adsorption capacity of CO2 maintains at 4.0 mmol/g, and it exhibits that SMR/PEI has excellent regeneration performance.
