The graphite intercalation compound (GIC) was prepared by chemical oxidation method using nature flake graphite (NFG), HClO4/PO4/(CH3CO)2O/CrO3 as the oxidant and intercalation agent. The optimum technology parameters of the largest expansive volume (VEG) were determined. The changes of mass in preparation, storage, expansion of GIC and its volume stabilization was given a further study. The result showed that VEG was 300 mL/g at 300℃and achieved the largest volume of 560 mL/g at 600℃. Mass of GIC increased in preparing, but decreased in storage and expansion. The addition of NaNO3 could improve its volume stabilization at some extent. The composition, structure and thermal decomposition properties of GIC were characterized and analyzed by SEM,XRD,FT-IR,TGA-DTA. Results showed that the intercalates like Ac-,ClO4-,Cr2O72-,PO43- had already been inserted into the graphite layers. The design principle of interference agent dispensing was investigated. The effect of physicochemical properties of constituents on the burning performance of the interference stanchion consisted of GIC and heat-supplying agent was analyzed. It was proved that the GIC (prepared in the optimum conditions) which accounting for 70% content in the interference had a property of low-temperature, low-power consumption and high-volume.The MMW attenuation performance was studied by the dynamic test method. And the effect factors of particle size, expansive temperature and expansive method on attenuation capability were analyzed. The different attenuation characteristics between 3mm and 8mm were discussed respectively. And the surface of EG was improved. The results showed that EG had an excellent attenuation ability. The effect factors like particle size had a vital impact on the attenuation decibel. Under the same conditions, the attenuation performance of EG in 8mm waveband was superior to that in 3mm. The magnetic EG which added magnetic loss to the attenuation capability was prepared by expanding the mixture of GIC and...
