Slip is an important clamping tool in the process of workover operation. because of the large dimension and the small adaptation range of existing slips, which can not meet the requirements of structure and function of vehicle-mounted pressure balancing workover rig. A new design scheme of slip is put forward, and the theories of the finite element analysis and elasticity are applied to analyzing the loading parts of the slip. Theoretical base of slip structure optimization is provided by the studies in the thesis.First of all, for workover rig slips makes a lot of early preparation, according to design key points of the slips structure to research large number of structure design thought of many domestic and foreign workover rig slips and then makes the systematic expression to development of domestic and foreign workover rig.According to workover rig slips can possess maximum space and slips need clamping the weight of the tubing to designing the basic structure of the slips, and according to the basic structure of slips to make corresponding mechanics analysis and calculate the friction coefficient of slips teeth and tubing when slips clamping tubing, and the conditions of slips can be broughted up but can not be self locked.Due to the slips needs clamping tubing of large weight, so need to make finite element analysis of slips important bearing parts to determine whether the stiffness of slips coincides with the design requirement. So makes finite element analysis to slips, tubing, moving stiffness, and obtains the maximum stress and maximum deformation, and compares with the material yield strength to determine whether correspond with the strength required, which can provides theory basis for the slips optimization.Slips teeth is the most important part of the slips, the slips teeth clamping tubing and finally achieves the function of the slips, teeth board wear and local damage will makes slips appear nick. When slips teeth appearing nick will greatly hurt tubing, the service life of tubing will reduces. Each nick will speeds up the damage of tubing, so this paper forms slips teeth shape, slips teeth surface distribution, slips teeth eat into the depth, the slips tooth equivalent friction coefficient four aspects to analysis slips teeth.
