Along with the China's oil exploitation moves from land to sea,from shallow well to the deep well,the demand for matching oil equipment is also increasing.Since the traditional manual slips and small and medium pneumatic slips can't adapt to the present situation,Therefore,it is necessary to design and develop the hydraulic power slips,which can adapt to deep well mining and bear heavy load.This article will aim at this demand to develop 750T power slips.Firstly,the working principle of power slips was discussed.Based on the mechanical modeling and analysis of the power slips,the overall scheme design was completed according to the requirements.The three-dimensional structure of the power slips and the schematic diagram of the hydraulic system was obtained.Then,the finite element analysis was carried out for the parts with large load,and the strength and stiffness was checked to ensure safety and reliability.For the slips-body with large structural dimensions and the slips-teeth that bear fatigue and impact loads,the structural was optimal design.It made the slips-body working safely,the material was saved and reducing weight by 9.83%when the weight was reduced.The type of slips-teeth has been optimized,the stress distribution was more reasonable and the maximum stress reduction 47MPa,which improved their life and safety factor.In order to improve the performance of synchronization power slips of the hydraulic cylinder,after establishing the mathematical model of the valve control cylinder,by using master-slave synchronization control strategy based on PI control,the theoretical simulation analysis and verification by using MATLAB show that the synchronization performance has been improved.Finally,the physical model simulation in AMESim was further verified to ensure that the four hydraulic cylinders Synchronous operation.The designed power slips has achieved the expected goal,and the whole machine has good performance.The research results of this subject have some reference significance for improving the performance of power slips and improving its structure.
