It has been paid much attention in world wide to the issue of global warming thatcaused by an increasing concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere. Chemical absorptionmethod which has been indicated by many researches with stability in operation,maturity in technology and sustainability in recycling, has become one of researchfocuses. In this paper, the ways and the results was stated for a series experimentssuch as preparations of the CO2 capture agents, experiments of CO2 absorption anddesorption, as well as determination on the features of CO2 capture agents as apreliminary study. The main contents are as follows:Firstly, intermediates and ionic liquids for following experiments with specialfunctionalizations were synthesized by normal backflow methods. And then, thespectral bands in infrared spectrum absorption showed that the synthesized liquidswith the corresponding structures of ionic liquids.The experiments of CO2 absorption and desorption were done by using differentsynthesized agents in the different temperatures. Furthermore, the relevantperformances of synthesized agents were characterized. Based on above experiments,the reaction rates of CO2 absorption with synthesized agents and the orders of relevantabsorption reactions were determined. The results indicate that the mixture aqueousliquid of 45% pure alcohol amine solution+10% intermediates of ionic liquid, withthe minimum reduction in absorption CO2 at higher temperature in the temperaturerange of this work, is more stable for absorption CO2 than other agents tat hightemperature condition.The corrosion currents of synthesized liquids were tested by using electrochemicalworkstation Autolab, and their corrosion properties were simply analyzed. Theexperimental results show that the corrosion performance of amine aqueous liquidsadding intermediates of ionic liquids are lower than other synthesized liquids, andamong them, however,triethanolamine 20% + 10% pure intermediates of ionicliquids is the lowest.Moreover, the kinetics parameters such as apparent activation energies andfrequency factors in CO2 absorption reactions of different synthesized agents werestudied and calculated roughly and made comparisons between the reactions indifferent groups.
