In this paper, cerium ammonium nitrate is a radical initiator.which leads styrene. acrylamide, sodium styrene sulfonate monomer to graft to the surface of carbon nanotubes in a mild condition. By the tests of transmission electron microscopy, infrared spectrum, thermogravimetric analysis, etc, it shows that the polymers have been successfully grafted to the surface of carbon nanotubes. The modified carbon nanotubes have better dispersivity than pure carbon nanotubes. Through the electrochemical experiment, the result shows that the composites have good capacitive behavior. The flexible conductive material. has good conductivity and stable capacitance performance, which composited with the cotton fabric and carbon nanotubes modified with sodium styrene sulfonate.
