Carbon nanotubes(CNT) because of its special structure, which has electrical, thermal and mechanical properties of good, have broad application space in aerospace, equipment status monitoring and many other high-tech industries. Carbon nanotubes, especially multi walled carbon nanotubes(MWNT), have been the focus of research in recent years.Epoxy resin has many advantages, such as low curing shrinkage, good stability, strong adhesion and good mechanical properties. It can be widely used in various fields. But some shortcomings of the epoxy resin, such as the poor impact resistance, poor heat resistance, brittle texture large internal stress and so on, to a certain extent, also restricts the application of epoxy resin in the field of engineering.Multi walled carbon nanotube / epoxy composites(MWNT/EP), having advantages of carbon nanotubes and epoxy resin, thus play a greater role. In this paper, the Manufacturing process of multi walled carbon nanotubes / epoxy resin composites, and the forming process and the basic performance test are studied. Multi wall carbon nanotube composites were produced by exploring the fabrication process of multi walled carbon nanotubes / epoxy resin composites. The forming method of multi walled carbon nanotubes composites is studied. multi walled carbon nanotubes / epoxy composites is made to be parts by the molds. And test the multi walled carbon nanotubes / epoxy composite materials. Finally, the formation of a complete multi walled carbon nanotube / epoxy composite manufacturing process, forming and testing system. Providing a manufacturing process and selection basis for the follow-up to use of multi walled carbon nanotubes / epoxy resin composites, to promote its application in the field of fault diagnosis and health monitoring technology or other engineering.This paper also includes some failure cases of manufacturing and forming process of the multi walled carbon nanotube / epoxy resin composite. The follow-up treatment schemes are designed Through the analysis the casues of the failure cases. The collection of cases may be caursed by some occasional reasons, some of which are linked to experimental equipment and the operator's work experience. These cases are a summary of the experimental work, also hope that these cases will be read as reference information.
