Selecting cheap sawdust as bioadsorbent, it was modified by hexadecyl trimethyl ammonium bromide (CTAB) andβ-cyclodextrins (β-CD) respectively. Study on adsorption properties and adsorption mechanism of typical endocrine disruptors bisphenol A (BPA), nonylphenol (NP) in water on bioadsorbents and modified bioadsorbents. The best modification condition ofβ-CD modified is reaction 3 h under 140℃, original sawdust:CA:SDP:β-CD=8:12:1:20(quality ratio).It was also found that pseudo-second-order equation and Freundlich adsorption isotherm provided the best correlation to the adsorption processes of original sawdust(SD)Ο,CTAB modified sawdust (SD-CTAB).β-CD modified sawdust (SD-β-CD). In the best adsorption conditions, the absorption capacity of BPA on SD-β-CD was 4.27 times as much as SD, and the absorption capacity of BPA on SD-CTAB was 3.72 times as much as SD; To NP, the adsorption capacity of SD-CTAB was 1.93 times of that of SD, the adsorption capacity of SD-β-CD was 1.67 times of that of SD. According to adsorption of phenol-BPA two-component system by two modified sawdusts, the results showed:at low concentration, due to sufficient adsorption sites, phenol and BPA with different properties may occupy different sufficient adsorption sites respectively, adsorption competition is not clear; at high concentration, adsorption capacity of BPA was better than phenol because of its hydrophobicity. In the BPA-NP two-component system, NP on three kinds of adsorbents has more competitiveness than BPA.
