The hazard of sympathetic explosion of detonators on the belt during the transmission was studied in this paper.In the transmission of foundation detonators' product line, there are two kinds of situation. One is transferring in pattern; the other is transferring in carton. For the first situation, because of uncertainty of detonators' explosion, different number of detonators were exploded in the experiment and get different damage effect. The safe distance was get, based of the harm of shock wave for human body, and the law of the safe distance was get too. For the second one, because different kinds of initiating explosive and shells have different sensitivity, so in the experiment detonators without initiating explosive in paper shell, detonators with DDNP initiating explosive in paper shell, detonators with DDNP initiating explosive in aluminum shell and mine-used detonators without initiating explosive were used for testing. The experiment has been done by using the Bruceton up-and-down method. First, the 50% probability of sympathetic explosion of detonators' distance was calculated; second, the 99.99% probability of sympathetic explosion of detonators' distance was calculated as the distance for sympathetic explosion. Last the 0.01% probability of sympathetic explosion of detonators' distance was calculated as the safe distance. Different hazard of induced detonation was analyzed. The overpressure of the shock wave in different distance was get when the whole carton of detonations' explosive in the transmission of detonators' product line by using experienced formula.
