The wastewater treatment is a kind of typical complex process, which is always the study hotspot in control field. Activated sludge wastewater treatment is one kind of biology method, which is used widely in the world. Researching the intelligent control strategy in wastewater treatment can not only enrich theory and application of intelligent control,but also is useful to the development of control theory,which can provide new control way for nonlinear and complicated systems.The main content and innovations of this paper are listed below:1,Analyzed the automatic control strategies in wastewater treatment.2,Analyzed the inherent mechanism of activated sludge,established mathematics model,which reflects the relations among dissolved oxygen,microorganism and substrate.3,proposed An integrated control scheme.4,designed an intelligence controller based on fuzzy neural network.5,expatiated their structures and optimization algorithms,and respectively applied them to the control ofdissolved oxygen concentration. The result ofsimulation experiments confirms the entire control plan feasibility and validity.6,Compared with the classical fuzzy control and traditional control methods,the fuzzy neural network control with learning ability has better performance when applied to wastewater treatment process.
