Injection molding process is one important method of plastic products production, this paper use the methods of controlling machine parameter and process parameters of injection molding, research the injection molding process control, then attain the research objectives of product quality improvement outstandingly. The main content of this paper include:1) This paper first introduces the injection molding process, the methods and research development of quality control,the injection molding process control,process analysis and optimization and the injection molding process testing are discussed, the research programs of product quality optimization using machine parameter control and control of injection molding process parameters are proposed.2) Considering the characteristics of serious time delay,nonlinear and time-vary ing of servo hydraulic control system of injection molding machine, CMAC neural network control algorithm is introduced to the traditional PID control; The program of a digital controller based on ADuC precise microcontroller is developed; Finally, debug the program,process the signals and improve the algorithms on the MA900 injection molding machine. Experimental results show that, compared to the traditional PID controller, packing pressure overshoot,static error and time delay are greatly improved, the product quality is also improved extremely.3) The mold flow analysis is carried on using Moldflow software, the effects of parameters such as temperature,pressure and speed with product quality are figured out, and the above-mentioned injection molding process parameters are optimized, obtain the important conclusions that, cavity pressure state parameter is the most important parameter of packing pressure control, and the melt flow front speed of the filling phase plays a significant role on the product quality.4) In order to control the mold pressure and mold cavity melt flow front speed, ultrasonic testing and visual detection experiments of the injection molding process are designed, the plastic injection mold is independently developed, and the test platform is built, the online ultrasonic testing and visual detection experiments are completed, the flow change and state of melt in mold cavity in the injection molding process are observed and recorded on-line, experimental data are fitted separately using neural network, the methods of ultrasonic detection detecting the cavity pressure and control the mold cavity melt flow front speed through the screw speed filling control are verified, experimental basis are provided for control of injection molding process parameters, then attain the research objectives of product quality improvement outstandingly.
