Diamond-Ironing is a kind of garment accessory for decoration. There are some serious problems existing in domestic equipments for processing, such as low product quality, low processing efficiency and serious environmental pollution and so on. Polishing is extremely important part in the diamond-Ironing machining process. So it is most important to research and develop high-performance polishing equipment for improving the manufacturing level.In this papers, based on the research of polishing process, the polishing equipment, Multi-Head Polishing Machine, is developed specifically for the diamond-Ironing's surface quality processing.Firstly, we have studied the effects of various parameters and variables of the polishing process, designed the polishing plate, the important parts of the polishing machine, and completed the design for the combination scheme and spatial distribution of it.Secondly, overall structure of the program is developed according the requirements of design for precision machining equipment. We have designed, calculated and modeled the Machine execution system, transmission system, suspension system and control system.Thirdly, we have established the planetary-type mathematical model of polishing trajectories, studied the trajectory characteristics between the machined pieces, the upper and lower polishing plate based on the software MATLAB. We have established the uniform function of the planetary-type precision polishing and studied the effects on polishing uniformity of all kinds of polishing movement parameters, which provide a basis for optimal parameters for optimization.Fourthly, Based on the finite element analysis software ANSYS Workbench, Modal analysis of Harmonious Response analysis for the machine tool are simulated as a whole, and the most vulnerable parts of the structure are found. And then dynamic analysis for those parts is studied to find the weak links in those structures, and we'll propose some suggestions for the structural optimization, and the optimal solution will be adopted by comparison.
