POSS is a new type of silicone material, the structure of this kind compounds has a high degree of symmetry of the space, the molecular core of the silicon-oxygen skeleton structure, the most common structure containing eight Si atoms (T8compounds), the angle of the Si atoms have the same or different types of functional groups. The POSS class of compounds due to the higher stability of the Si-O bond composed of highly symmetric three-dimensional structure has good stability and dielectric properties, and more widespread application in the field of aerospace, dielectric materials, refractories, wear-resistant materials of POSS compounds prices have also decreased. So, we believe that in recent years, the POSS compounds in research is becoming hot applications greatly expanded.POSS compounds synthesis method that is more mature in the previous literature of this thesis is based on the existing laboratory conditions, the synthesis of five different functional groups in polyfunctional POSS compounds, and its infrared, NMR silicon spectrum, thermogravimetric analysis, elemental analysis and characterization, to determine the preparation of POSS compounds for the expected structure.In this paper, the preparation of POSS compounds for the modified epoxy resin materials, doping is mainly used in the modified method for physical modification and chemical graft modification of two, and the modified epoxy resin thermal stability, glass transition temperature and surface properties were studied. Not previously reported on the effect of two modified way the system of research and discussion, this paper attempts to POSS compounds based on the experimental results on the comparative analysis of the modified epoxy resin through two different ways.In addition, the core skeleton of the POSS compounds to determine the characteristics of size and regular structure to be used to prepare ordered mesoporous/microporous carbon materials of POSS compounds in nitrogen high-temperature calcination, the formation of silica, with10%of HF its processing solution, to get highly ordered mesoporous/microporous composite materials, and observed by transmission electron microscopy (TEM), the different crystal faces of the material can determine its structure is highly ordered.
