During the drilling in deep wells and ultra-deep wells, non-uniform casing wear occurs due to the frequent contact between the drill pipe and the casing. While severe casing wear will lead to the reduction of casing internal pressure strength, this becomes a threat to drilling safety.According to the sleeve's property, based on the elastic-plastic theory of the thick wall cylinder, this critical discussed the sleeve's wear. According to drilling site's condition, selected the related experimental facilities, simulated sleeve's internal pressure test and compared it with finite element analysis, got the related property of sleeve's wear.As well, the article discussed the sleeve's internal pressure strength, analyzed the relation between the stress and wearing capacity. Choose some full-scale sleeve's blasting test data published and compared it with the bursting pressure formula data. Current classical model can not predict the actual casing strength. Accordingly, the research on the law of the effect of material yield strength ratio on the burst strength of tubing and casing offers a new and more precise calculation model of tubing-casing's resistance to internal burst. The comparison between the calculated and measured burst strength indicates that this model is good in calculating casing burst strength and can represent the actual burst strength, therefore it provides references to improve casing design.
