Extrusion machine is the most common processing equipment in plasticprocessing machinery. In recent years, with the enhancement of the request ofthe plastic products level, the requirements of the extrusion equipment is alsorising. In order to produce high quality products, the new request to theextruder system of network, automation and professionalization is set. Theresearch of the extruder system dynamic characteristics is always an importantpart of the extruder control theory.This paper mainly focuses on the dynamic property of the single, tandemextrusion system. First of all, built the data collection platform based onBeckhoff BC9050and make the communication between TwinCAT andLabview by means of using the technology of TwinCAT real-time nuclear andActiveX. At the same time, through the waveform chart and data storageprograms,achieve the functions of real-time data acquisition, trend diagramshows and real-time storage etc.Secondly, using the pressure of the connector and the head pressure asthe research object and making many times of experiments of the dynamicproperty of double-screw and triple-screw single order extrusion system and double-screw and triple-screw tandem extrusion system with the melt pump,find the rule of the pressure changing with screw speed, feed speed and meltpump rotation speed changing and make sure the input and the output variableof the single input and single output system and multiple input multiple outputsystem.Finally, according to the experiment, process the data. Using theidentification method of the state space, through the identification of the threescrew single order extrusion system and double screw with the melt pumptandem extrusion system in MATLAB, get the state equation of the systemand validate the simulation. At the same time, enhance the fitting degree ofsimulated curve and the experiment curve by increasing the output variablesand confirm the PID parameters with making the double-screw with meltpump double order extrusion system model as the object.
