Because the FCC will continue to occupy an important position in modern and future oil industry processing, so this paper studies steady-state simulation of catalytic cracking reactions and regeneration system. This article established the steady-state model of catalytic cracking reactions and regeneration system based on standard pseudo-component, modulated the entire processing unit, divided into:riser model, separator model and regenerator model. The steady-state model verified by actual industrial data to explain its correct and effectiveness. In this paper, the steady-state simulation choose the Sequential modular approach, which is the most common and easiest method of the chemical process simulation sequential modules, solving strategies of each module and entire process are given in this paper. For the convergence of chemical process simulation, we study the convergence rates of these iterative convergence algorithms. To accelerate the speed and reduce the analog time of steady-state simulation, we chose the fast convergence algorithm, which is general dominant eigenvalue method (GDEM), summarized and improved the GDEM, given the simple enough calculation steps and constructed function, by comparing with the other two commonly used methods of convergence, showed the convergence time and the number of iterations needed have significant difference in the effectiveness, we can clearly find this method is very rapid. This method greatly improves the speed of the steady-state simulation, and solves the long-consuming problems in steady-state simulation. Another analyzed the influence of the cut variables initial in sequential modular on the simulation results, three convergence methods are used to judge the sensitivity of initial. The main role of the steady-state simulation is to guide the production and design, so this paper carried out the analysis of operating conditions on the basis of the study, illustrating the effect of operating conditions on the simulation results, providing the prerequisite for further operations optimization and advanced control research.
