Polyacrylate microemulsion with the first network structure was firstly prepared in this paper.The microemulsion could be formed films at a low temperature,the handle of fabric was soft when the microemulsion was used in fabric coating printing and dyeing.Secondly,the linear macromolecule PVA and the crosslinking monomer glyoxal were chosen as the second network components.Thirdly,polyacrylate microemulsion with the first network structure was mixed with PVA-glyoxal.Under certain conditions, PVA and glyoxal cross-linked,and randomly interpenetrated with the first network. Then,interpenetrating polymer network films were formed.Finally,the interpenetrating polymer network films were used in fabric coating printing and dyeing.(1)Polyacrylate microemulsion was prepared with n-Butyl Acrylate(n-BA),methyl methacrylate(MMA),iso-octyl acrylate(2-AEH),styrene(St)as comonomers,bifunctional monomer as crosslinking monomer,sodium dodecyl sulfate(SDS)and polyoxyethylene octylphenol ether(TX-30)as emulsifier,a-methacrylic acid(MAA)as assistant emulsifier,ammonium persulfate(APS)as initiator.The performance of microemulsion were characterized by particle size analyzer and rheometer.The effects of the amount of emulsifier and the mass ratio,the amount of assistant emulsifier,the amount of initiator,the amount of crosslinking monomer and reaction temperature on the performance of microemulsion were studied.The results showed that when the amount of compound emulsifier was3.0-3.5wt%of the total system mass,and the ratio of SDS and TX-30wasl:2,the amount of MAA was5wt%of the total system mass,the amount of APS was0.4wt%of the total mass of monomer and the reaction temperature was75-80℃,the monomer conversion of microemulsion was higher,and the stability of microemulsion was better.(2)The interpenetrating polymer network films were prepared with polyacrylate microemulsion as component I (A Ⅰ)and PVA-glyoxal systems as component II (A II). The influences of the amount of cross-linking monomer in A Ⅰ,the ratio of PVA and glyoxal in AⅡ,the ratio of AⅡ and A I and baking temperature on the performance of interpenetrating polymer network films were studied.The performance of interpenetrating polymer network films were characterized by IR,DSC and strength tester.The results showed that water absorption and solvent loss rate of IPN films reduced,tensile properties of IPN films were improved.When the amount of cross-linking monomer was3wt%of the total mass of monomer in A Ⅰ,the ratio of PVA and glyoxal was1:0.4in AⅡ,the ratio of All and A I was3%and the baking temperature was120℃,the performance of IPN films were better.(3)Using A I and AⅡ as adhesive,pigment paste were prepared in accordance with the recipe of coating printing and dyeing, and applied to cotton fabric.The influences of the ratio of PVA and glyoxal in AⅡ,the ratio of AⅡ and A I and baking temperature on the performance of cotton fabric were studied.The performance of cotton fabrics were characterized by rubbing color fastness test machine and stiffness tester.The results showed that the rubbing fastness of cotton fabrics with A Ⅰ and AⅡ were improved and the handle remained the same.When the ratio of PVA and glyoxal was1:0.2in AⅡ,the ratio of AⅡ and A Ⅰ was2-3%and the baking temperature was120℃,the printing performance of cotton fabrics were better.
