Aqueous polyacrylate resin adhesive for eco-solvent ink print coating was prepared with methyl methacrylate and butyl acrylate as monomers, sodium dodecyl sulfonate and octylpHenol polyoxyethylene ether as composite emulsifier, potassium persulfate as initiator, glycol dimethacrylate or divinyl benzene as the cross-linking monomer, ethyl acetate as the porogenic agent though method of emulsion polymerization. The influences of amount and mass ratio of emulsifier, the amount of initiator, the amount of monomers, and the reaction time on the product performance were studied. The diameter distribution of emulsion and polymerization degree were investigated by laser particle analyzer and FT-IR. The results showed that adhesive had good application properties when composite emulsifier as 3% of system quality, initiator of 0.5~0.6wt% of monomer quality, polymerization temperature of 80~85℃,reaction time of 5.0~5.5 h, solid content of 35wt%.The coating were prepared with adhesive. The influences of the types and amount of cross-linking monomer, the amount of porogenic agent, and the mass ratio of monomers on the application properties of coating as film-forming properties, ink-absorption properties, pastiness degree, printing quality, age resistance printing properties, cracked degree, and water resistance properties were discussed. the application properties and surface structure of coating were tested by temperature controller, leveraged analytical balance, ink-jet printer and SEM. the results showed that coating had good application properties, conforming the request of ink-jet printing coating for ECO-solvent ink absorbing when cross-linking agent divinyl benzene amount as 3% of monomer quality, porogenic agent ethyl acetate monomer quality of 30%, butyl acrylate monomer and methyl methacrylate mass ratios of 3:2.
