In order to understand the status of pollution of the subsidence water more clearly, as well as the contribution of various sources of pollution, the subsidence water of Panji NO.1mine and Xieqiao mine were studied in this paper. The distribution characteristics of concentration and pollution level was analyzed. In this study, the Software of SPSS17.0was used for factor analysis in order to identify the factors of water pollution and possible sources. On the basis of the factor score, cluster analysis was applied for analysis of the similarity of the sampling points. The results were concluded as followed:(1) By the analysis of various physical and chemical indicators, nutrients and heavy metals, it was revealed that the subsidence water was not faced serious organic pollution and nitrogen and phosphorus nutrition salt pollution, but also was existed of heavy metal pollution which can not be ignored, resulting a greater harm to the ecological environment.Besides the overall quality of the subsided water was affected by the increase of another ions. The specific performance of was concluded:it was low transparency and weak alkaline. It had high content of dissolved oxygen, organic, nitrogen, phosphorus and heavy metals, by increased in chloride ions, etc.(2)Factor analysis model was used to analyze the water quality variables of the subsidence water of Panji NO.1mine. The results indicated that the four main factors explained88.017%of the total variance in water-quality data and it was sufficient to represent pollution sources of the subsided water of Panji NO.1mine. F1was mainly associated with TP, TN, total alkalinity, Ca2+, HCO3-and Cl", explaining42.991%of the total variance. It was mainly represented the mixed pollution including agricultural non-point source pollution caused by nitrogen and phosphorus fertilizer and mining wastewater. F2was mainly associated with HCO3-,CO32-and Fe, explaining20.180%of the total variance. It was mainly represented mining wastewater. F3was mainly associated with CODcr, explaining13.299%of the total variance. It was mainly represented mixed pollution of the rural sewage and mining wastewater. F4was mainly associated with Cr (VH) and Pb, explaining11.546%of the total variance. It was mainly represented the influence of leaching water of gangue. Factor integrated score further confirmed that the water quality was importantly influenced by mining pollution and the Nihe river.(3) Factor analysis method was used to analyze the water quality variables of the subsidence water of Xieqiao mine. The results indicated that the four main factors explained85.228%of the total variance in water-quality data and it was sufficient to represent pollution sources of the subsidence water of Xieqiao mine. F1was mainly associated with total hardness,total alkalinity,Ca2+,HCO3-,Cr (Ⅶ),Pb,Fe and CODMn, explaining49.448%of the total variance. It was mainly represented mining pollution. F2was mainly associated with CODCrand CODMn, explaining13.251%of the total variance. It was mainly represented the mixed pollution in the rural sewage and mining wastewater. F3was mainly associated with TN, explaining12.146%of the total variance. It was mainly represented the agricultural nonpoint source pollution caused by nitrogen. F4was mainly associated with TP and F.Coli, explaining10.383%of the total variance. It was mainly represented TP and F.Coli pollution of rural sewage. Factor integrated score further evidence the east of the subsided water of Xieqiao mine was more serious. The main factor score indicated the different contribution of each pollution source to different monitoring sides.(4) Cluster analysis method was applied according to the factor score. The results showed that both the samples of the subsidence water of Panji NO.1mine and Xieqiao mine were divided into seven types.
