Currently, the progress of textile industry technology is being continuously deepened, the study of new textile machinery is also in development, and the development of comber has become an important symbol of modernization for cotton-spinning enterprises. Comber speed is an important symbol of measure its technology level. Since the 1980s, the rapid development of combing machine, the carding speed has been increased to 450 clamp/min form 100 clamp/min. Unbalanced movement will stimulate a strong vibration of comber support structure system as the speed increasing. A series of contradictions caused by vibration become a serious impediment to the combing machine to further improve its speed. This subject comes from comber product development projects of college and enterprise, aimed at developing an efficient, reliable, high-speed and high-precision comber.Based on finite element theory and the structural dynamics theory, dynamic performance study of the existing supporting structure system of comber, and proposed structural improvement program. Optimize the existing Comber Nipper based on optimize theory. Through the improvement and optimization of supporting structure system of the nipper mechanism to solve strong vibration and noise bring as the speed development. Mainly work in the research process as the following:1. Established CAD and CAE model of the supporting structure system of comberAccording to the company technical requirement, build three-dimensional model of comber supporting structure system. Change CAD model into CAE model reasonably based on simplified three-dimensional model of comber supporting structure system.2. Dynamic performance of the supporting structure system of comberStudy dynamic performance of the existing supporting structure system of comber base on the finite element model and using the power function of ANSYS software, in order to understand the vibration characteristics of the supporting structure system of comber and to provide theoretical guidance to improve the structure. Modal analysis of the system to obtain the natural frequencies and mode shapes, and analysis of the relationship between the structure and its vibration characteristics.Steady-state response analysis of the system to obtain the dynamic response characteristics of the supporting structure system of comber.3. Improvements of the supporting structure system of comberAccording to the natural frequencies and vibration mode shapes which obtained by modal analysis of the supporting structure system of comber,and with the test data, find the dominant mode that affect dynamic characteristics of system. Proposed improvement program of structural in order to strengthen the structural rigidity and improve the system natural frequency.4. Optimization of the nipper mechanism of comberRequirements under the combing process, use the optimization function of ADAMS optimization modules, make "studio-angle" as the minimization objective function and make the instantaneous acceleration value of bite point of up-nipper as the minimization objective function ,optimized the up-nipper of comber. reducing the bite point instantaneous impact of upper and lower nipper and dynamic load of support structure system, achieve the purpose of reducing vibration and noise from vibration source.
