Parameters Study Of Different Knife Coating Systems And Flame-retardant Coated On Textile

The textile coating settlement,also known as coating adhesive,is a uniform of macromolecule polymer,which can be averagely spread onto the surface of the textile. It can form one or more thin layers on the surface of the textile by the effect of adhesion.This surface can not only significantly improve the appearance and style of the textile,but also increase some functions such as waterproof,ventilation, anti-waterpress,flameproof,dirty free and UV proof.This project comes from the china-france international co-operation program,and the major experiments were implemented in ITECH.This article is especially engaged on the research of flame retardant effect on cotton fabric and the scraper system technique.In general,it includes three parts.The first part,I have investigated three different kinds of coating with the influences on the stability,the viscosity by adding thickening agent and anti-foam addition.Upon the experiment,I found the positive affection on coatings by using the last-night medicine.Furthermore,overall comparing the three adhesives,we chose three optimized combinations of viscosity for the next step of coating treatment.The second part,we used the three coating systems separately spread on the same cotton fabric.They are the knife over roller(KOR) system,the knife-over-blanket (KOB) system and the knife-on-air(KOA) system.I used two different types of knifes separately on each method above.Here I called the knife A and the knife B.After applying to the three different coating methods on fabric,I measured the thickness, weight increasing,the surface appearances of the coating and the physical changes according to the different methods and different knife.Finally,after analyzing the factors which influence the three affections,I concluded the best coating finishing technology. The third part:based on the above two parts,I will introduce further the flameproof coating.In this examination,by adding the fire retardant agent CH at certain concentration or melamine resin K(with fire retardant function) into the adhesive agent,I recorded the influences on the viscosity of adhesive and coating effects. Simultaneity,we coat a second time on another side of the cotton fabric instead of on one side only.After the treatment,I compared the effects of coatings and then tested the fire retardant effect.I found the best coating technology towards the fire retardant.
