Toner is the major photographic image consumable that is used for electrostatic copying and laser printing. Toner is consists of resin, painting addition agent. It is recognized as the world's high-tech products that produce process involve ultrafine powder processing, composite materials, chemical contents. As the development of xerographic textile, more and more comfortable for textile's toner are needed .Bis(hydroxyethyl) of bisphenol A (BPA-EO) was synthesis by bisphenol A(BPA) and 2- Chloroethanol through Williamson reaction. Influencing factors including reactant ratios, temperatures, catalysts and time were studied through a series of experiments. The finalization of the best synthesis craft that determine by experiment result is optimal ratio of BPA and 2- Chloroethanol was 2.5:1,reaction temperature was 80℃,reaction time was 4 hour , concentration of catalysts (NaOH) was 20%. The performances of products were characterized by means of DSC,IR,H-NMR.Polyester was obtained from fumaric acid and Hydroxyethyl bisphenol A through a two step process containing esterification and polycondensation. influencing factors including reactant ratios, time, temperatures, catalysts and inert gases were studied through a series of experiment. Polyester is characterized by means of IR. If the case of excess fumaric acid ,it is prone to carbonyl addition reaction with the double bond. So BPA-EO excess is necessary. The finalization of the best synthesis craft that determine by experiment result is optimal ratio of BPA-EO and fumaric acid was 1.15/1, reaction temperature was 157℃,reaction time was 6 hour ,catalysts dosage was 6.4%. nitrogen and vacuum circumstance were both necessary to protect functional groups-the duplet bond in fumaric acid and enhance molecular weights. On the synthesis of different molecular weight polyester and test its melting point, softening point, crystallinity degree , thermal stability, viscosity. And discussed the relationship between crystallinity degree , thermal stability ,cross linking degree and melting point.
