Low melting polyester refers to polyester with a melting point between 90 ° C and 240 ° C.Based on the research on the properties of low melting polyester fibers, this text discussed the process of hot melt sizing of polyester / cotton blended yarns with low melting polyester fibers.According to the yarn requirements of common polyester / cotton products,a 28 tex polyester / cotton blended yarn with a blending ratio of 65/35 is determined. In the spinning process,15%,20%,25%,and 30%low-melting polyester fibers are used to replace equal proportions of ordinary polyester fibers. The ordinary polyester fibers and low-melting polyester fibers are carded into a polyester mixed sliver through a carding process. It is blended with cotton sliver in the drawing process, and finally spinning 65/35 polyester-cotton blended yarn.According to the hot-melt temperature of low-melting polyester, different heating time schemes and heating temperature schemes are used to heat the polyester-cotton blended yarns that are processed,so that the low-melting polyester is partially melted and processed with ordinary polyester fibers and cotton fibers.Hot-melt bonding can enhance the yarn and improve the abrasion resistance.Through testing and analyzing the tenacity, abrasion resistance and hairiness of the yarn after hot-melt,a reasonable hot-melt process for various blended blended yarns is determined.Choosing the hot-melt yarn with the best properties of the hot-melt yarn at the best heating time and temperature to weave the polyester-cotton fabric, the sample trial weaving process is smooth, indicating that the hot-melt yarn has good weavability. With regard to traditional polyester-cotton fabric,20% polyester-cotton fabric,25% polyester-cotton fabric and 30% polyester-cotton fabric experimentize tests with wear resistance, and compare and analyze the results of various experiments. It can be seen that polyester-cotton fabrics mixed with low-melting polyester can meet the relevant requirements of various properties under certain conditions. Finally, reactive dyes and disperse dyes were selected, and dyeing experiments were performed on traditional polyester-cotton fabrics,20% polyester-cotton fabrics,25%polyester-cotton fabrics, and 30% polyester-cotton fabrics. The differences in dyeing rates of the four types of polyester-cotton fabrics were compared and analyzed. The proportion of polyester with low melting point is 20%,the hot-melt process is 160 ?,and the polyester-cotton fabric woven with hot-melt yarns of 80 s has the best dyeing performance.According to the comprehensive analysis results,it can be considered that the low-melting point is blended in the traditional polyester-cotton blended yarn. There is a certain feasibility for polyester to achieve pulp-free weaving of polyester-cotton fabrics.
