| Losses are widely distributed in western China, engineering properties of loess is very poor, especially for its serious collapsibility. Therefore, in order to ensure construction quality, the collapsible loess should be treated to satisfy the engineering requirements.Research in this paper was conducted based on the collapsible loess foundation treatment of Xining Caojiabu Airport phaseⅡproject. according to the results of previous studies and combined with experiments, the properties of collapsible loess around the Caojiabu Airport were analyzed, the value range of physical and mechanical indicators was proposed as well, which could be provided basic data for collapsible loess foundation treatment.Based on the site conditions of collapsible loess foundation around Caojiabu Airport, vibration rolling, impact rolling and dynamic consolidation test were conducted. According to the test results and theoretical analysis, the treatment method and related technical parameters for different collapsible degree of loess foundation were finally determined in this paper. |
