With the vigorous development of city construction, people pay more and more attention to the development and utilization of underground space, such foundation excavation is not only more and more, deeper and deeper, more and more big, meanwhile the possibility of an accident of excavation process is more. This paper selected a large area of the shantou long string foundation with the three-dimensional finite element analysis, and studied the deformation of the supporting structure of pit and the deformation and forces of the pile foundation in the pit.First of all, using three-dimensional finite element program, the Mohr-Coulomb model, considering the actual excavation steps and the interface between the supporting structure and the soil simulates a widespread problem of deep excavation engineering examples, the paper researched and analyzed on the simulation of the excavation course and deformation effect in contrast to actual monitoring results to verify the accuracy of the simulation.Secondly, using three-dimensional finite element program, a large area of deep excavation engineering with pile foundation in the pit is simulated, the research has been made to analysis on the deformation of pile foundation in the pit and on the pull and the movement of the pile foundation in the pit causing by the excavation process. The results can guide the actual design process.Moreover, using three-dimensional finite element program, the Mohr-Coulomb model, a large area of deep excavation engineering with the single pile foundation in the pit is simulated to study the change of pile bearing capacity of the before and after the excavation. Analysis showed that after excavation the bearing capacity of pile foundations have a greater degree of reduction.Finally, the research has been made to analysis the influence of the pile bearing capacity considering the effect of compacting soils using the residual strength tested by the ring shear test and the research is similar to the excavation effect on the pile.
