Fiber Reinforced Polymer(Referred to as FRP)is nonmetal composite materials,composed by fiber and resin. According to the different types of fiber and the matrix material, FRP bars, which are now used in civil engineering structure, are mainly carbon fiber bars, glass fiber bars and aramid fiber bars. Compared with the steel, FRP bar has the characteristics of high strength to quality and small elastic modulus, fatigue properties, small stress relaxation, good corrosion resistance, nonmagnetic etc. So FRP become the best choice to solve corrosion of steel bar problem at corrosive environment.This paper introduced FRP bars'practice in civil engineering, which systematic access to domestic and international research literature. FRP bars'properties such as acidproof alkali salt, damp, ultraviolet and heat-resistant refractory etc have been studied and summarized. This paper has conducted the alkali corrosion and mechanical test research, work had been done as follows:1. Under room temperature, corrosion test has been done respectively in different chemical medium such as NaOH solution. Then measure CFRP bar's bibulous rate and quality loss. Through the analysis of the data extraction, search for the corrosion mechanism of FRP bars under acid and alkali's erosion.2. Under room temperature, corrosion test has been done respectively in different chemical medium such as HCl solution. Then measure CFRP bar's bibulous rate and quality loss. Through the analysis of the data extraction, search for the corrosion mechanism of FRP bars under acid and alkali's erosion.3. Under room temperature, corrosion test has been done respectively in different chemical medium such as HCI solution and NaOH solution. Do FRP's tensile test, measure its tensile strength after 60d and120d. analyz the collected test data, find out CFRP bars'corrosion rule.4. Based on the sample data, establish fuzzy model. Using ANFIS in matlab realization, fuzzy theory based on Sugeno fuzzy model of the system set up to predict the FRP reinforcement corrosion in the solution.The results of the study indicate as follow:1. Due to poxy matrix bibulous properties, CFRP bars'bibulous rate is to achieve maximum in the 68 days or so, in acid and alkali solution. After 68 days, bibulous rate began to decline, and be more stable. With the growth of quality time increased,CFRP bars'quality increased. This is mainly because CFRP bar plasticizer anhydride has reacted to Alkaline solution. And it is reversible reaction. resultant absorpt and reserves on the samples. Higher concentration, longer corrosion, the greater the weight gain.2. Due to poxy matrix bibulous properties, CFRP bars'bibulous rate is to achieve maximum in the 64 days or so, in acid and alkali solution. After 64 days, bibulous rate began to decline, and after 130 days it will be more stable. With the growth of quality time increased,CFRP bars'quality increased. This is mainly because CFRP bar plasticizer anhydride has reacted to acid solution. And it's reversible reaction. resultant absorpt and reserves on the samples. Higher concentration, longer corrosion, the greater the weight gain.3. CFRP reinforced specimens in acid and alkali solution corrosion 120 days, mechanical properties almost no change. This is mainly because CFRP reinforced beared the main components of the carbon fiber with acid reacts. Only when the base material and the acid-base chemical reaction occurs destruction of the matrix and fiber bonding,so there is a weak decline in mechanical properties. With the increase of corrosion time, the solution of the matrix increased corrosion. Then Matrix and fiber the rapping will further decrescent .At last it will completely destroyed. At this moment, Tensile strength will fall to a critical value then Strength of CFRP tendons will not fal.4. Using ANFIS in matlab realization, established CFRP bar corrosion fuzzy model in acid and alkali solution,which based on sample data. Based on the preliminary forecast model, it is concluded that the model is effective.
