As a kind of important power production equipment, air compressor is widely used in the various links of life and production, such as mining, metallurgy, machinery manufacturing, electronic power, chemical, textile, packaging industry, and other fields. Making the analysis and study for the fault of the vibration of air compressor rotor is of great significance to ensure the safe and reliable operation of air compressor, and to improve production efficiency and economic benefit.In order to solve the working vibration problem of the DA410-61 centrifuge compressor which is made by Shanghai air Blower Company, this paper makes the structure and frequency analysis for the compressor drum. The contents are:Make an analysis for the phenomenon and the reason of the vibration breakdown.Create a 3D model based on Solidworks for the compressor drum and make finite element optimal analysis for it.Get the natural frequency and critical rotation velocity of the compressor drum based on the finite element analysis and show the relevant methods for improving the characteristic of the compressor drum structure.
