Due to the increasingly environment and resource problem, all the country in the world begin to pay more attention to the exploitation of renewable sources. Wind power technology as a mature technology of using renewable sources get a rapid development. The installed wind power capacity in the world increased constantly year by year.With the rapid development of wind power technology, large wind power and wind power group has been formed, the negative impact of wind power characteristic on power system has been more and more remarkable, and constrains unceasingly s, which has been the important obstacle to expand wind farm scale. Because of wind power is intermittent and randomicity, and the wind power grid with certain scale will be the bad influence on the voltage stability of system. This paper base on the analysis of reactive power-voltage characteristic of wind power integration, and put forward the solution, at the same time of improving system voltage stability, decreasing the grid loss. The main research contents include:First, the mathematical model of wind power systems is studied. And analyzed wind speed model, aerodynamics model, wake loss effect model, power drive model, generator model, wind farm equivalent model. Introduced a complete wind farm model to power-flow calculation.Secondly, offered the flow equation of asynchronous generator and doubly-fed induction generator in the power-flow calculation. According to a practical example, the paper compared the causation of steady-state voltage stability decrease that caused by the constsp speed wind farm based on asynchronous generator and adjustable speed wind farm based on doubly-fed induction generator parallelized in power system. Finally, in order to solve the problems of voltage stability when the wind farm is in parallel operation, this paper proposed to use genetic algorithm to determine the reactive compensation scheme. It can achieve global optimization, decrease the number of computations, assure the system node voltages would be in permitted scale when decrease the network loss, ensure the normal operation of wind..
