The system of electric driving wheel in all directions is a basis component of walking machinery with the core of four-wheel driving synergistically, no parking brake control and four-wheel independent controlled technology; it is characterized by flexible control, wide range application, strong overload capacity, reliable system performance and easy maintenance. The implementation of the research will provide a product standard with flexible configuration for walking machinery industry, play a founding role in the development of industry standards, make the system have a better adaptability, reduce design time and design duplication, improve the design efficiency.In this paper,through analyzing the wheel suspension and transmission system, as a basis of meeting the function and parameter requirements, design the suspension and transmission of the electric wheel, including type selection and structure design.The basis of feasibility analysis, design modular electric wheel system, universal modular electric wheel can be adapted to a variety of vehicles. The basis of the similar theory, model is designed, it can meet the test requirement, simplify the prototype in a certain degree, produce experimental prototype. Design the hardware and software; implement cooperative control for testing machine. Test meets the function and parameter requirements, can be secure, reliable and stable work, provide theoretical basis and experimental data for the whole system of electric driving wheel in all directions, and play a key role for walking machinery industry.
