With the rapid development of high-speed railway, the high harmonics produced by "AC-DC-AC" electric locomotive damages increasingly prominent OCS(over contant system). Caused by equipment failure is everywhere.That is serious harmful to the railway high-speed, safe and economical operation. This article aims to find a reliable, simple and economical equipment failure management program.This article first, Occurred on the actual operation of the characteristics of various faults, Combined with existing high-speed railway on the occurrence of harmonic resonance to compare failure, it was found there are many similarities between the two. Thus speculated that equipment failure is caused by the high harmonic resonance, then, the capacitor through the analysis of the causes of damage, that damage to the capacitor is mainly caused by the overheating of the harmonic current breakdown of the aging. At the same time, through the analysising that current and voltage amplification principle and line impedance frequency characteristics. Harmonic resonance current role in the power system and the traction power supply system harmonic impedance after synthesis, resulting in bus rapid increase in the harmonic voltage components,synthesized with the fundamental voltage causes the voltage increases, the magnitude of increase in incentives from the EMU decide the harmonic resonance.
