In this paper, an airport Southwest side of reinforced earth fill slope as the research object, through the application of reinforced soil status at home and abroad, research status, and there are still problems in areas such as the summary, with on-site investigation, laboratory analysis, master geological background of the study area, conducting geological analysis based on the finite element method, the influence of reinforced soil slope stability analysis of the factors to select the optimal reinforcement scheme, and calculate the seismic slope stability condition . The main contents are as follows:(1) Of the airport's natural geography, topography, lithology, meteorological, hydrogeological and other geological background conditions were analyzed to clarify the field area of the engineering geological environment; and access to the reinforced soil structure and stability of the calculated data , the basic theory of reinforced earth and engineering calculation method described.(2) The reinforced soil slope design theory has matured and improved, but the target for the development of cost-effectiveness of today, Optimal design of reinforced soil slopes is imperative. In this paper, the southwest side of the object as a reinforced soil slope using finite element method mathematical models, numerical simulation as a means to select a greater impact on the slope stability of reinforcement length, cut slope angle, vertical laying thickness, slope height of four parameters, obtained by changing these parameters with the relationship between the stability factor, to find the optimal slope design, to the subsequent construction of the project have some guidance.(3) For reinforced soil slopes, in addition to other parameters of reinforcement length have a greater impact for its stability, earthquake induced landslides is an important factor. In the above calculation based on the results, access to relevant information, obtained the seismic intensity in the region to analyze the condition of the stability factor in the earthquake, to assess its stability.
