On the basis of extensive reading the literature, ant colony algorithm and its application in structural optimization and design-related content is analysised and synthesised ,additionally.the basic concept of structural optimization, the basic concept,structural optimization, theoretical development status is analyzed and summarized。On this basis, the ant colony algorithm of the basic theory the basic structure or the problem of optimal design and the way of design examples is furtherly studied.In this thesis, the specific work done by the following points:First, on the basis of extensive reading the literature, the structural optimization of basic concept, content, features were introduced, and the common optimization algorithm was also studied. The domestic and foreign the research of the algorithm of structural optimization for the status and development trend of the research have a more comprehensive understanding of, and a literature is summarized.Second, a proposed evolutionary algorithm-ant algorithm, is introduced by detail and its the basic structure and main features are analyzed. the ant colony algorithm for structural optimization design algorithm design and content of the design example is studied In-depth. Algorithm for the optimization of the design of the mathematical model, constraints handling, ant colony algorithm initial population generation and selection of control parameters are summarized in the analysis and research.Third, In this paper, as to the specially and requirements of structural optimization problems, adaptation and debug a simple ant colony algorithm based on structural optimization program, and used to solve discrete optimizied design of truss structures.Fourth, Finally, through the establishment of the objective of minimizing the weight of the truss structure of the mathematical model, the applicate procedure and the improved ant colony optimizational procedure is corresponded. The proposed design of the truss structure is not only suitable for solving optimization problems of truss structures, but also to other structural forms of scientific structural design optimization has some reference value.Figure 23 table 5 references 62...
