Oujiang estuary, a typical macro-tide estuary of mountain river, is one of the main channels getting into the sea in China. OuJiang port, a hub port,was disturbed by the water depth problem which is causing by sand bar in exterior channel.And this comes out to be a great restrict to the economic development of WenChou.To improve the navigation capacity and condition, the cleanup work of channel need to be executed urgently.Based on the field hydrological sediment data and underwater topography data, and with the combination of regulation engineering happened on the estuary.This paper analysis how the runway volume of the Oujiang river changed, the transformation of river bed, the variation of river orientation, and the regulation process of turnout. Study on the evolution law of shoal outside and those navigation deep channels. Research the deposition rate and one year deposition amount which occurs after dredging by meanings of calculation, and bring forward a new regulation method which combined the exterior channel sand bar disposal skill and the navigation channel dredging technique. And Optimize the regulation strategy by physical modeling and numerical simulation.The Oujiang estuary regulation project solved the problem that sediment dispersed and reflowed while the tide rising and falling under the situation that sand stirred up by wind waves, and reduced the uncertainty of water-sediment environment variation, could be a reference to similar estuary project...
