XinMi old downtown is located in the southwest of ZhengZhou city, HeNan province, and between the two historic river-Zhen River and Wei River, has a profound historical culture. XinMi old downtown founded in the Sui Dynasty, through Tang Dynasty, Five Dynasty, Song Dynasty, Yuan Dynasty, Ming Dynasty and Qing Dynasty, is the political, military, economic and cultural center of the city and the important witnesses of local history, which lasted more than 1300 years.As a representative of the countys in HeNan Province, XinMi old downtown basically keeps the the spatial pattern of Ming and Qing dynasties at present, and has many cultural relics, historical buildings, and the traditional local-style dwelling houses. But because the poor protection concept and the lack of management system, XinMi old downtown is in decay, the space form and traditional style has be sabotaged, and the historic relic inside downtown is on the verge of extinction. The traditional space is a foundation that the history and culture of the city can be existent and continue by it.
